In Ukraine the Orthodox and Greek Catholic Churches valid Julian Calendar !!!

 

Night from 6.01 at 7.01 - Christmas;

06-08.01 is a string of Christmas holidays;

19.01 – Christening of the Lord / ukr. „Йорда́на” (Ордана) or „Водохреща”;

19.12 - St. Nicholas Day;

Movable holidays:

The sequence of Easter / Easter / ukr. „Великдень” or „Пасха / Паска” …

... And many, many other religious festivals !

 

You should visit Ukraine during celebrations of national and religious holidays. In Ukraine, this time it's always sunny "climate" and the spirit of the Ukrainian Nation ! Each would welcome and invite You to participate in the celebration - the joy of sharing !
